Our trainer, Erica Freiburger, offers hunter/jumper training and exercise programs for your horse. The goal of training is to build the skills of the horse so they are calm, willing, balanced, and responsive to the aids. Erica is a proponent of the Classical School and trains with the ultimate goal of self carriage.
Training programs are individualized for each horse's ability and their owner's goals. Owners are strongly encouraged to take lessons with Erica on their horse throughout the training process so they understand the concepts being taught to their horse and can contribute to the horse training process. Erica currently has horses in training for pursuits ranging from breaking and pleasure riding to hunter competition and driving competition.
Training costs $25 for a single session, or $20 per session when you purchase four or more sessions at the beginning of the month. Most of Erica's training horses are scheduled for training two or more days per week, and owners are encouraged to ride their horse throughout the week as well. If you are interested in training for your horse please contact Erica directly at (315) 382-3058.
